IP bearer network has the capability of carrying a variety of services. Currently, 2G, 3G networks are in coexistence, and 3G is moving to 4G. So still 2G, 3G, 4G will be in coexistence for a long considerable period. However, all services will be carried through IP bearer network. Synchronization performance of the IP bearer network can directly affect the normal and stable operation of all services. In the current IP bearer network, the time synchronization test involves new test requirements like time server test, IEEE1588 asymmetry compensation test, long-term stability tests of devices in IP bearer network, etc. Therefore, XGXC China releases a new time synchronization test instrument, and improves the efficiency of opening, verification, and maintenance tests of present IP bearer network.

Perform continuous test for 15 minutes in the 1PPS+TOD interface of backbone layer or convergence layer devices, or in the 1PPS+TOD, FE, GE interfaces of Access layer devices.
